Windsurfing: Rhosneigr
Wind Direction: WNW
Wind Stength: F6
Surf / Sea State: Waves, chop, surf
Air Temperature: 9
Sea Temperature: 9.8
Weather: Sun
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

First time Rhosneigr in a NW and took a bit getting used to. Waves were waist high and quite steep which I found hard to get out through at first, with one good jump. Choppy at South end before turning into waves. Tried a few rides but not good then as I improved they turned mushy, which is my excuse.
Looking at Google Earth I didn't realise just how much the bay curves and if I had gone north in bay wind would have been cross shore instead of quite on at North end. Quite gusty with some holes to slog out through which was difficult if lull was in surf, but at least surf wasn't big enough to trash gear, and 4.7m was good choice overall. Only 9C but felt much warmer in sun.
Another first was being th eonly windsurfer, a few surfers and a couple of kiters (on 6m but didn't feel that windy).
The 7:30am morning shift had bigger waves and wind
